Official game FAQKrillion is a daily trivia game at krillion.io. Each prompt asks you to name something that fits a category. You choose one answer, then discover how far it takes you.
Open the official daily dive and check the rules before starting. You have 25 seconds per prompt. Notice qualifiers: the category might be narrower than it first appears.
Type one thing that fits and submit within the time limit. Start with something you know is correct, then consider a less obvious option before committing.
Complete all seven prompts. Points add to your depth, and you get one daily attempt. Everyone receives the same daily prompts, so compare results with friends afterward.
Accepted answers score according to rarity. Every point takes you 10 metres deeper; a perfect 700-point dive reaches the 7,000-metre trench. Rarity is not simply today’s player-choice percentage. The official FAQ describes familiarity data for some prompts, with LLM assistance and manual review for others.
Keep one answer you are confident fits. Then search your memory for a more specific example. An unusual answer still has to meet every part of the prompt.
Your first clever answer may come to many other people too. Think through a different region, era or everyday context rather than relying on one famous exception.
Leave the final seconds for submitting. Review the result afterward: aliases and autocorrect can sometimes turn a guess into a different answer than you intended.
Start with the official daily dive. After playing, review the answers and scoring shown in the game to understand what was accepted. Prompts change daily; yesterday’s answer only helps when it fits the new question.
This guide stays spoiler-free. No fixed answer guarantees the best score for every prompt, and the special “Krillion” pick also considers how satisfying an answer is to discover.

It must be accepted for the prompt first. Rarity then affects its score. The special “Krillion” answer also considers fun and satisfaction, so it is not necessarily the most obscure answer in the set.
Curated answer sets can have omissions, which the developer acknowledges. Check the exact prompt and spelling; a rejection does not necessarily mean your answer is factually wrong.
Krillion checks aliases as well as primary names. A small spelling difference can match an unexpected alias, producing a seemingly unrelated result. The official FAQ explains this behavior.
You can play the original game in a web browser at krillion.io. The developer’s FAQ describes a future app as planned; use the official site for current platform announcements.
